Job Description

*This role is field-based and candidates should live within the territory. This territory includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado Spring CO, Fayetteville AR, Wichita KS and the surrounding areas.*

Lead a team of Clinical Account Executives (CAEs) across the Texas region to transform the lives of patients impacted by cancer through exceptional customer engagement, key account management, and compliant promotional execution. This leader creates clarity, builds belief, develops people, and inspires purposeful execution that delivers lasting business results. Success requires the ability to elevate others, navigate change, and foster a culture where high performance and accountability are the standard. Responsibilities: 

  • Develop people to maximize their unique strengths through coaching, feedback, and career development 
  • Translate strategy into purposeful execution through clear priorities, disciplined coaching, and consistent follow-through 
  • Serve team as an expert in product knowledge and a deep understanding of disease state and the evolving hematology/oncology marketplace. 
  • Strategically execute brand strategy at a local level to positively impact the business. 
  • Cultivate a culture of performance, inclusiveness, and personal growth grounded in trust and accountability  
  • Manage budget and resources to maximize the impact we make on patients. 
  • Lead Key Account Management (KAM) by aligning in-field teams around shared account priorities 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree  
  • 7+ years of sales experience within pharma/biotech  
  • PERFORMANCE: history of consistently delivering top results  
  • LEADERSHIP MINDSET: Demonstrates curiosity, humility, self-awareness, and a commitment to continuously studying and improving the craft of leadership 
  • LEADERSHIP CAPABILITY: Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams 
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN: Understands how strategy, key account management, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration drive business performance 
  • INFLUENCE: Demonstrated ability to lead without authority with cross functional teams 
  • COACHING: Develops CAEs by improving both what they do and how they think. Creates accountability through clear expectations, meaningful feedback, and belief in others’ potential 
  • APTITUDE: Applies data, critical thinking, business insight, and sound judgment to make timely, high-quality decisions  
  • AGILITY: Adapts quickly, embraces ambiguity, and confidently leads teams through uncertainty and evolving and business environments 
  • TALENT: Demonstrates the capacity and desire to continuously grow, expand responsibility, and prepare for broader leadership opportunities 
  • Driving a personal auto or company car or truck. 
  • Valid driver’s license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements. 

Preferred but not required 

  • Oncology experience strongly preferred, preferably in hematologic malignancies
  • MBA or other advanced degree 
  • Experience as a people leader
