Progressive Leasing is a leading provider of in-store and e-commerce lease-to-own solutions. With more than 20 years in FinTech, we’ve grown from start-up to industry leader by innovating, simplifying, and valuing people. We are a subsidiary of PROG Holdings (NYSE: PRG), a FinTech holding company with three business segments: Progressive Leasing, Purchasing Power (a leading employee purchase program for consumer products and services using payroll deduction), and Four, a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platform.

We are currently hiring a Sr. Manager, Digital Strategy & Optimization to lead marketing measurement, analytics, and web optimization across multiple subsidiaries. This is a high-impact, largely greenfield role responsible for architecting multi-touch attribution infrastructure, owning performance reporting at all levels, and translating complex data into clear strategic recommendations for VP and C-suite leadership. The right candidate will bring both the technical depth to build from scratch and the leadership presence to drive adoption across teams and brands.

Employee Value Proposition (EVP): PROG is dedicated to providing people with opportunity; opportunity for inclusive collaboration, opportunity for innovation, and opportunity for development.

WE ARE: A leading FinTech company that thrives on innovation and data-driven decision-making. We build measurement systems that matter, invest in greenfield capabilities, and trust our people to architect solutions from the ground up. Across our family of subsidiaries — Progressive, Purchasing Power, and Four — we move fast, think strategically, and hold ourselves accountable to measurable outcomes. We are entrepreneurs and technologists united by a commitment to doing the right thing.

YOU ARE: A marketing analytics leader with deep technical expertise and a builder's mindset. You thrive in ambiguous, greenfield environments where the infrastructure doesn't yet exist and the opportunity to define it is exactly what excites you. You can architect a multi-touch attribution model in the morning and present findings to the C-suite in the afternoon. You speak fluently in ROAS, CPA, incrementality lift, and GA4 — and you know the difference between platform-reported performance and what's actually happening.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Drive department culture grounded in rigorous measurement, intellectual curiosity, and clear communication of findings to non-technical stakeholders

  • Partner with VP-level and C-suite leaders on strategic decisions, translating outputs into actionable recommendations

  • Build and own the marketing measurement strategy across multiple subsidiaries — a largely new capability being stood up from scratch

  • Architect and implement a multi-touch attribution model that connects paid media investment across channels to conversion events and funded revenue

  • Design incrementality testing programs to isolate true paid media lift from organic baseline, in close partnership with the media agency and internal data science and analytics

  • Own ROAS, CPA, and CPL reporting at the channel, campaign, and audience level — with the rigor to reconcile platform-reported numbers against measured outcomes

  • Build performance projection models and forward-looking forecasts that inform quarterly budget allocation and senior leadership strategy sessions

  • Own GA4 implementation, governance, and reporting across multiple subsidiary web properties

  • Manage Heap Analytics for behavioral tracking, funnel analysis, and product-to-marketing attribution

  • Own Google Tag Manager across all managed properties — data layer standards, tag governance, QA processes, and deployment coordination with engineering

  • Ensure instrumentation is consistent, accurate, and actionable across desktop and mobile surfaces

  • Own pixel strategy across paid media platforms — Meta, Google, TikTok, and programmatic — including server-side tagging, conversion event governance, and cross-platform QA

  • Define and enforce pixel implementation standards across subsidiaries to ensure measurement consistency

  • Audit and resolve discrepancies between ad platform attribution and internal Snowflake data

  • Own marketing-facing data in Snowflake — including audience inputs, campaign performance data, and attribution model feeds

  • Partner with Data Engineering to build and maintain pipelines that deliver clean, timely marketing data across subsidiaries

  • Own subscriber and customer identity data quality as the foundation for accurate targeting, segmentation, and cross-channel attribution

  • Serve as the internal measurement authority in the agency relationship — evaluating methodology, challenging attribution assumptions, and ensuring optimization is grounded in incrementality rather than last-click

  • Lead martech vendor evaluations and renewals with a clear framework for integration fit and demonstrated ROI

  • Own the Salesforce Marketing Cloud data relationship for marketing, including data extension inputs and journey performance measurement

YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5+ years in marketing analytics or marketing technology

  • Experience building attribution or measurement infrastructure from the ground up — not just inheriting and maintaining existing systems

  • Experience with A/B and multi-variate testing for ecommerce platforms

  • Hands-on Snowflake experience: designing and owning marketing data pipelines, not just querying them

  • GA4 and Heap Analytics administration and reporting ownership

  • Google Tag Manager expertise — data layer design, tag governance, QA, and cross-team coordination

  • Pixel implementation experience across major paid media platforms, including server-side tagging and conversion event auditing

  • Working knowledge of multi-touch attribution modeling and incrementality testing methodology

  • Experience building performance forecast models tied to marketing investment and business outcomes

  • Fluency in ROAS, CPA, CPL, incrementality lift, and the difference between platform-reported and independently measured performance

  • Ability to present complex measurement findings clearly to VP and C-suite audiences

  • Experience managing or closely partnering with a media agency on attribution and optimization strategy

  • AI-enabled tools are already part of how work gets done across our organization, and their use will continue to expand over time. We value people who are curious, adaptable, and open to learning as roles and workflows evolve

WE OFFER:

  • Competitive Compensation

  • Full Health Benefits; Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid Parental Leave

  • Company Matched 401k

  • Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays + Paid Volunteer Time

  • Diversity Alliance Resource Groups

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program

  • Tuition Reimbursement

  • Charitable Gift Matching

  • Job Required Equipment & Services Will Be Provided
