About Dealerware
Dealerware transforms the automotive retailers of today into the mobility network of tomorrow. Launched in 2016, Dealerware manages tens of thousands of vehicles at dealerships in North America across every major manufacturer brand. Dealerware is committed to being a people-first culture and a great place to work for all, with flexible scheduling, unlimited PTO, extensive benefits, a core value of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and a leadership and management team that defaults to being supportive and accessible. In 2026, Dealerware was recognized by Built In as one of their Best Startups to Work for in Austin for the fifth consecutive year.

Digital contracting is the foundation of Dealerware’s platform. Every day, thousands of dealership employees rely on Dealerware to power digital contracting across rental, loaner, test-drive, and pickup-and-delivery workflows. We are trusted to process millions of contracts annually across North America and Canada, scanning IDs, validating insurance, capturing vehicle damage, and enabling seamless mobile check-in experiences that instill confidence, whether at the service drive or in a customer’s driveway.

As Sr. Product Manager - Platform, you will shape the intelligent systems that power dealership performance, driving revenue, utilization, compliance, and customer satisfaction through scalable and secure mobile and web capabilities. This is not feature ownership; it is platform stewardship across mobile and web, deeply embedded in dealership workflows and OEM program compliance. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Product Management, and operates as a senior individual contributor with strategic visibility and commercial accountability across the organization.

Product Scope & Accountability
You will own Dealerware’s web and mobile platform, designing the scalable infrastructure and intelligent workflows that power scheduling, customer verification, mobile check-in, contract execution, and fleet optimization, connecting customers, dealership operators, and OEM programs into one unified system.

Platform Architecture & Contract Lifecycle Ownership
You will evolve the core systems that govern the contract lifecycle, ensuring configurability across OEM programs without fragmentation. Your mandate is to build durable platform capabilities that enable internal teams and partners to create, integrate, and capture value, not just ship features.

Mobile-First Execution
You will shape the mobile platform into the heartbeat of daily dealership operations—fast, resilient, and intelligent by design—where modern, intuitive experiences meet enterprise-grade security.

Intelligent Automation
You will embed AI and automation directly into core scheduling, contracting, and customer profile workflows to reduce friction, mitigate risk, and elevate operational intelligence at scale.

Performance & Economic Impact
You will define and instrument platform KPIs tied to dealership economics, including contract duration, fleet utilization, revenue capture, and compliance accuracy, ensuring the platform acts as a multiplier across the ecosystem.

Platform Stewardship
You will operate with high ownership across Engineering, Product Design, Data, and GTM to ensure platform investments are scalable, adopted, and economically meaningful.

What success looks like:

  • Our mobile experience performs reliably in real-world conditions, from the service drive to the parking garage to the customer’s driveway, delivering fast, offline-resilient execution even during peak volume, with strong adoption and minimal reliance on support.
  • Contracting evolves into a customer intelligence engine, using AI-driven validation and automation to reduce fleet risk and manual effort while delivering a modern, seamless, and confidence-inspiring experience for the end customer.
  • The top recurring sources of customer friction and operational tickets are eliminated at scale, contributing to sustained improvement in NPS and user confidence.
  • AI-driven validation and automation meaningfully reduce compliance risk and manual intervention, with measurable decreases in exceptions and rework.
  • Platform investments translate into measurable economic lift for fleets, including improved utilization, stronger revenue capture and cost recovery, and clearer visibility into contract-level profitability.

Your peers would say you:

  • Are the team’s backbone, a steady, strategic leader who brings clarity in ambiguity.
  • Are relentlessly customer-focused and curious; you deeply understand user behavior and build from real insight, not assumptions.
  • Are driven to solve meaningful problems, believing experimentation is a discipline, not a buzzword.
  • Think in systems, not features: you design for scale, leverage, and long-term impact.
  • Care more about getting it right than being right; you are passionate, fearless, and grounded in outcomes.
  • Co-create with customers and elevate the team’s understanding of the why behind every decision.
  • Stay calm under pressure with a bias toward action.
  • Use AI and modern tooling as force multipliers across discovery, prioritization, and execution.

Required qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management and Product Owner experience in B2B/B2B2C SaaS environments.
  • Experience building/evolving multi-tenant SaaS platforms serving enterprise customers.
  • Proven experience shipping complex web and mobile products at scale.
  • Strong systems thinking with experience building or evolving platform capabilities.
  • Experience translating compliance requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience embedding AI/ML and/or automation into customer-facing workflows.
  • Experience defining KPIs and measuring impact beyond vanity metrics.
  • Excel at operating in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Even better if you have:

  • Automotive, fleet management, rental, subscription, or dealership technology experience.
  • Experience with derisk products: identity verification, insurance validation, fraud prevention, document intelligence, damage detection, and insurance workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in embedding AI/ML or intelligent automation into real customer-facing products, beyond experimentation to production impact.

Dealerware offers you:

  • Competitive base salary with bonus incentive eligibility
  • Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • On-demand educational courses via LinkedIn Learning
  • Tuition reimbursement and continuing education
  • Unlimited paid vacation policy
  • Flexible work
  • Generous Paid Parental Leave program
  • Modern office and a dynamic team in downtown Austin with free parking
  • Friendly, small company environment with a progressive culture
