We work in a collaborative and consultative way with our customers to develop the ideal material solution to optimize mechanical properties and chemical composition to achieve the desired product performance. We are currently hiring a remote Sr Program Manager for our MedTech Solutions business.
JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Program Manger role will work within the MTS TekniPlex business, with a focus on identifying and managing programs that sustain and mature the business to deliver on business objectives. This role is remote.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively participates in the continuous improvement process by identifying and addressing opportunities to reduce costs, improve the product/process and overall operations within the business.
- Support the MTS Tekni-Plex Technical and commercial organization with integration of new products or processes into the manufacturing sites.
- Leads or supports the validation of processes, ensuring all activities are completed on time and in line with the Quality processes and business objectives.
- Support, coach and assist the manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, to optimize resources and improve existing processes.
- Identify and lead improvement initiatives across the MTS business that contribute to the reduction of internal/external escapes and establish best practices for sustained business performance.
- Identify financial resource requirements for key programs, ensuring appropriate planning and feasibility of programs is evaluated, actively monitored and reported throughout the program.
- As required, support Capital management activities within the MTS business, ensuring projects are managed within budget, implemented on time, without impacting daily production activities.
- Establish governance structures for programs, provide timely updates to the Leadership team and sites management regarding project planning and execution.
- Lead and develop program management structures within the Tekni-Plex MTS business, coach and mentor other programs leads to improve overall planning and execution of programs.
- Travel required: approximately 10–20%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a bachelor’s degree.
- 7 years of program management experience.
- Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills using tact and diplomacy are a plus.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Project management certifications are preferred.
Salary range for this role is $94,600 to $142,000 per year.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and legibly complete timecards and work orders. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and read blueprints and technical drawings, such as machine, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to effective present information and respond to questions form groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
