Job Overview:

The Unified Communications and Collaboration Team is looking for a Senior Cisco Unified Communications Engineer to join our team to continue to transform the way LPL Financial communicates and collaborates both internally amongst teammates and externally with customers, partners, and advisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Design/deploy/maintain Cisco voice & video products across the entire portfolio

  • Maintain and administer Cisco telephony equipment

  • Configure and troubleshoot VoIP traffic across Cisco switches and routers

  • Troubleshoot voice communications problems of varying complexity

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of engineering experience in telecommunications

  • 3+ years of technical hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications

  • 3+ years experience with Cisco network routing, including QoS, & Webex Cisco Cloud Calling

  • 3+ years experience supporting complex technical services in Contact Center and/or corporate office environments

Core Competencies:

  • Senior level technical understanding of:

    • Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager

    • Cisco Unified IM & Presence and Unity

    • Cisco UCCX or UCCE

    • Videoconferencing Codecs and Endpoints

    • Voice Gateways / Routers / Switches

    • Cisco CUBE Routers and/or other SBC Solutions

Preferences:

  • Experience leading large IT telephony/communications M&A projects

  • Demonstrated people and project leadership qualities

  • On occasion work flexible hours to accommodate after hours and weekend activities such as travel for M&A site conversions and client training

  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service to executives, admins, and clients


 

Pay Range:

$43.78-$72.94/hour
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
