LUSA Group is a fast-paced national commercial landscaping company. We are looking for a Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to join the corporate headquarters team.

What you will do:
The duties of this position entail accounting, administrative and support functions for multiple locations:
•    General functions: filing, organizing vendor/customer files, mail, etc.
•    Data entry/support for AP and AR
•    Maintain excel spreadsheets for reconciliation of accounts and other analysis
•    Provide consistent and accurate accounting help with operations
•    Perform end of the month tasks: review/reconcile corporate cards, vendor statements, etc.
•    Execute various projects/duties as needed
 

Accountant Applicant must have the following qualifications:
High attention to detail and ability to efficiently work on several projects at once
Excellent soft-skills for working amongst the accounting and admin team
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Comfortable speaking to clients and vendors directly when necessary to resolve issues and/or alleviate concerns
Ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately
Ability to prioritize the completion of multiple projects assigned simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer and management interaction
Basic accounting skills with ability to perform simple analytics

Education:
Bachelor's in Accounting or related field (Preferred)

Experience:
Accounting Clerk/Staff Accountant: 3 years (Required)
Payables and Receivable: 3 years (Required)
Strong Excel Experience (Required) 
NetSuite: 2 years (Preferred)
Construction/Landscaping: 2 years (Preferred)
