About LiveKit

LiveKit is building the infrastructure layer for the voice-driven era of computing. Our platform gives developers everything they need to build, test, deploy, scale, and observe agents in production. Founded in 2021, LiveKit powers voice AI applications for OpenAI, xAI, Salesforce, Coursera, Spotify, and thousands of others, collectively facilitating billions of calls each year.

About You

The Staff GTM Systems Engineer at LiveKit is the technical owner and architect of the systems that power our go-to-market engine. You'll decide how our GTM stack is designed, what we build versus buy, and where we invest next — and you'll be hands-on building it: Salesforce architecture, integrations, enrichment pipelines, and the agentic workflows that help Sales and Marketing move faster and smarter.

Salesforce is our system of record for revenue, pipeline, and customer data. HubSpot is our marketing layer for campaigns and lead generation, and what it captures needs to flow cleanly and reliably into Salesforce. Around them sits a growing stack of enrichment, sales intelligence, billing, and data platform tools. You'll own the architecture that ties it all together: disciplined change management, observable pipelines, data models built for AI consumption, and agentic workflows that act on GTM signals at scale — designed to serve the business for years, not quarters.

This role sits at the intersection of GTM, Data, Finance, and Engineering. You'll work directly with senior leaders to shape the GTM systems roadmap, turn business strategy into technical plans, and guide decisions that span multiple teams. You'll also help grow the engineers around you, setting the technical standards and practices the team builds on.

You understand the difference between owning a system and gatekeeping one. Sales lives in Salesforce. Marketing lives in HubSpot. Your job is to make sure both are governed well enough that others can work in them effectively, and powerful enough that the GTM team can do things they couldn't do before.

You'll thrive as a Staff GTM Systems Engineer if you:

  • Are known as the go-to person for tough technical problems, and have good judgment about which ones matter most.

  • Think in systems and long time horizons, and can make confident architectural decisions with incomplete information.

  • Can clearly explain complex technical concepts and tradeoffs to engineers and executives alike.

  • Believe systems should be managed with engineering discipline.

  • Ship fast and reliably — your work holds up in production.

  • Are a fast learner, frequently picking up new languages and tools.

  • Find real satisfaction in mentoring other engineers and helping them grow.

What You'll Do
  • Own the architecture of the GTM systems stack: define how Salesforce, HubSpot, enrichment, sales intelligence, billing, and the data platform fit together, and write the technical strategy that guides how it evolves.

  • Lead build-vs-buy and procurement decisions: evaluate vendors, run proofs of concept, assess security and integration fit, and partner with Director of GTM Systems and Analytics, Finance, Legal, and IT on selection and renewals.

  • Shape the GTM systems roadmap with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Finance, and Engineering: align on requirements, sequence investments, make clear tradeoffs, and lead cross-functional initiatives to completion.

  • Own Salesforce as the engineering system of record for revenue: data model, flows and automation, validation rules, field governance, and access control.

  • Own HubSpot for campaigns and lead generation, along with the HubSpot-Salesforce sync — so leads, contacts, and engagement signals reach the revenue pipeline without drift or silent failures.

  • Build and maintain integrations across the GTM stack, and partner with GTM Analytics Engineering on reliable data flows to the central data platform.

  • Design and deploy agentic workflows that consume GTM data, surface actionable signals, and automate manual operations — and set the patterns and guardrails others build on.

  • Establish observability and change management for critical GTM systems: alerts, dashboards, and runbooks; reviewed code changes, documented config, and rollback paths.

  • Mentor engineers across experience levels and set the technical standards for the team.

  • Partner with the Billing Systems Engineer to automate the CPQ-to-Billing handoff.

Who You Are
  • Extensive engineering experience in GTM or business systems, including owning a GTM stack's architecture end to end — build-vs-buy calls, vendor evaluations, and systems designed for a multi-year horizon.

  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise — you understand the data model, have built complex flows and automation, and you think about it as an engineering system, not an admin tool. This is the primary bar.

  • HubSpot experience in a marketing context, including the HubSpot-Salesforce sync and what breaks and why.

  • Technical depth beyond the UI — you've built integrations with APIs, webhooks, and event streams, and you know when a native tool (a Flow, a Clay table, a HubSpot workflow) is the right answer versus when it's time to write code.

  • Agentic workflow experience — you've designed and deployed AI agents that act on GTM data in production.

  • Strong change management practices — you've shipped changes to live systems while protecting active deals and campaigns.

  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders — translating business strategy into system requirements and roadmaps.

  • A history of mentoring engineers, from early-career to senior.

Nice to Have
  • Salesforce CPQ: approvals, order forms, discounting rules, and the closed-won-to-billing path.

  • SQL and data modeling fluency; familiarity with a warehouse-centric stack (BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, reverse ETL).

  • Experience with billing platforms (Stripe, Zuora, Maxio) and the handoffs between GTM systems and billing.

  • Experience managing a GTM tooling budget or vendor portfolio.

  • Experience as a technical lead on a GTM or business systems team.

Our Commitment to You
  • An opportunity to build something truly impactful to the world

  • Contribute to open source alongside world-class engineers

  • Competitive salary and equity package

  • Health, dental, and vision benefits

  • Flexible vacation policy
