Develop and maintain high-performance C++ models of Arm Interconnect IP for system-level simulation. Investigate and resolve modeling and integration issues, deliver incremental model updates, collaborate with architects and hardware engineers on evolving designs, integrate and debug software on Arm Virtual Platforms, and drive technical discussions to improve modeling workflows.
Are you excited by the opportunity to shape the future of computing by enabling developers worldwide to build software that drives innovation in IoT, cloud computing, AI, and more? Do you thrive in a role solving complex and challenging technical problems? If so, we want to hear from you!
The modeling team in Arm's Central Engineering Software (CE-SW) division enables customers across domains such as IoT, Client, and Infrastructure to develop and validate software on Arm IP-based systems.
We develop functional models of Arm Interconnect IP down to the micro-architectural level. Together with other SoC models these form Arm Virtual Platforms used to emulate complete hardware systems alongside software stacks such as Linux and Android.
These platforms enable partners to start software development earlier, accelerate validation, and perform advanced debugging and system analysis, including into low-level memory bus transactions.
Responsibilities:
The Interconnect Fast Model team transforms hardware specifications into high-performance software models that power early software development and system validation. This role is suited to someone who has demonstrated the ability to independently lead complex technical work, navigate ambiguity, make sound engineering trade-offs, and influence technical outcomes. In this role, you will:

Hybrid Working at Arm
Arm's approach to hybrid working is designed to create a working environment that supports both high performance and personal wellbeing. We believe in bringing people together face to face to enable us to work at pace, whilst recognizing the value of flexibility. Within that framework, we empower groups/teams to determine their own hybrid working patterns, depending on the work and the team's needs. Details of what this means for each role will be shared upon application. In some cases, the flexibility we can offer is limited by local legal, regulatory, tax, or other considerations, and where this is the case, we will collaborate with you to find the best solution. Please talk to us to find out more about what this could look like for you.
Equal Opportunities at Arm
Arm is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and colleagues. We are a diverse organization of dedicated and innovative individuals, and don't discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
