Chemours is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our growing Stationary HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) team within our Thermal & Specialized Solutions Business. This position will be remote and will report directly to the OEM and Aftermarket Sales Leader.

Primarily responsible for selling Opteon and Freon branded refrigerants to new accounts and expanding business sales to existing accounts. Works independently within an assigned customer base (Stationary OEM). Manages all aspects of the selling process. Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals for the segment. Manages and builds relationships with existing customers. Identifies and establishes relationships with new customers.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth with key HVACR OEM customers
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement leadership at major accounts
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure strong customer satisfaction and issue resolution
  • Position Chemours’ value proposition and differentiation against competitors
  • Leverage industry knowledge to strengthen Chemours’ market position in HVACR refrigerants
  • Lead account reviews and deliver data-driven presentations to senior leadership
  • Manage demand forecasting to support planning, capacity, and resource allocation
  • Oversee pricing strategy and partner on market sizing, analytics, and competitive insights
  • Manage RFQs, track account performance, and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or account management experience in the HVACR industry or a closely related sector.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and data-driven sales analytics. 
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%) to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a technical discipline.
  • Direct experience managing OEM accounts at a national or global level.
  • C-Suite and executive level communication
  • Familiarity with refrigerants and their applications.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans and drive sustained business growth.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently within an assigned customer base.

Pay Range (in local currency):

$141,120.00 - $220,500.00

28

Annual Bonus Target:

16%

Factors considered in extending a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
