We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to oversee our Strategic Account Executives. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 10-15 years of experience managing a team of Account Executives selling ‘business to business’ SaaS software solutions. The successful applicant will have a competitive nature and take a solution orientated approach to sales. We are looking for someone who has built and grown sales teams and brings energy and passion to their role as mentor and coach. 

If you have experience from within the Property Management or Lease Accounting sector, then that would be advantageous. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Achieve or overachieve financial targets 

  • Develop and execute strategy for achievement of business results tied to overall sales strategy 

  • Attract and retain top talent within sales team with a strong focus on building a pipeline of candidates for potential open territories 

  • Drive high activity by conducting team prospecting sessions with direct reports 

  • Ensure that each team member is capable of developing and maintaining C-level relationships 

  • Provide leadership through effective communication of the NA Occupier Strategy 

  • Coach and develop direct reports on a regular basis 

  • Improve the team's success through effective leadership and mentorship 

  • Take ownership for own professional growth and support the team's professional growth 

  • Collaborate cross-departmentally: Marketing, Product, Professional Services and legal. 

  • Assist your team in negotiating pricing and contractual terms to close sales. 

  • Responsible for forecasting all opportunities based on MRI Software’s sales model and opportunity management definitions. 

What you’ll need: 

  • Minimum 10-15 years shown consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software or hardware), with 5+ years of management experience. Protech Experience a plus. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate account executives. 

  • Strong business acumen, forecasting skills, influencing skills and interpersonal skills (to share knowledge with a team to support the growth strategy within sales) 

  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen, handling others
