Position Summary:  


The Full-time Support Director Consultant reporting to the Area Director of their region ensures US CORE chapter and member success. Support DCs support chapter growth and ensure every Member has the referral partners they need to be successful. Our most successful Support DCs are actively engaged in building relationships, education, accountability, and growth support for 9-15 chapters.  

 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Promote membership through prospecting, recruitment, and member retention in each chapter.
  • Develop and implement, with the manager, an effective strategy to ensure members renew their membership on a recurring basis.
  • Promote chapter growth through operational support, outreach, training, marketing, coaching, and development.
  • Responsible for sales growth of BNI events such as identifying and requesting event sponsorships
  • Routinely visit, engage with, and recognize success in each chapter outside of the Support DC’s home office by regularly attending in-person BNI regional events to encourage new member growth, improve member loyalty, and increase member lifetime value and 
  • driving sales to increase new membership, including recruitment for new chapters.
  • Plan and execute regional events in alignment with the Area Director’s annual plan.
  • Continuously identify prospects and engage them with relevant offers. 
  • Manage leadership team selection and training process ensuring each chapter has a professional, focused, and growth-minded Leadership Team
  • Call and welcome new members within two weeks of their membership induction. 
  • Manage and train sales process in each chapter. 
  • Consistently attend regional and CORE team meetings and Support DC training.
  • Complete weekly and monthly reporting. 
  • Other tasks and elements as communicated by BNI’s US Core Leadership and the Area Director
  • Any additional duties needed to help demonstrate our core values, drive our vision, and fulfill our mission.

Required Qualifications:  

 

  • High School diploma/degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Commitment to excellent customer service 
  • Superb time management and planning skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:  

 

  • Professional work experience in sales 
  • Experience in territory/account management
  • Prior BNI experience preferred.

 

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions  

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
