Introduction
The Sponsor supports a diverse set of corporate goals across the organization by conducting technical risk assessments and providing technical risk mitigation guidance on the use of various enabling technologies. The Sponsor requires subject matter expertise in technical risk analysis of, IT systems and networks, mobile and wireless networks, cloud-based computing, network management platforms, communication protocols, scripting or programming products, configuration scripts, and IT hardware and software products in support of Sponsor’s risk assessment activities. The Sponsor also requires software development to maintain an online infrastructure, evaluating and extracting relevant data, web development, and software coding.
Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in VMware Horizon, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Demonstrated hands on experience with hyperconverged systems, particularly Cisco HyperFlex, to support the VDI environment.
- Demonstrated hands on experience with server environments including Windows (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP) and Linux (CentOS and Ubuntu).
- Demonstrated experience with Teradici technology and PCoIP protocol optimization.
Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience:
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams, Sponsor or otherwise.
- Demonstrated experience engaging in continuous improvement related to identifying opportunities for enhancing network and endpoint security measures and implement innovative solutions to improve overall security posture
- Demonstrated experience providing training and support
- Demonstrated experience participating in audits and compliance reviews, as it relates to systems engineering
- Certifications: VCP-DCV, VCAP/VCIX, MCSA/MCSE, or TOGAF

US Citizenship:
- This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.
Security Clearance:
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
- Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
Travel:
- This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
