The Talent Development team at Sendero works to enhance employee skills and knowledge to support career growth and organizational success. They focus on improving employees’ abilities through various means like training, coaching, and mentorship, aligning individual development with company goals. As a Talent Development Specialist within the Talent Management and Internal Operations teams, you will have an opportunity to directly contribute to our purpose by helping to develop our employees’ knowledge, skills, abilities, and knowledge capital, developing new capital, and supporting organizational change. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Contribute to operations, including new process documentation and driving ongoing execution of current processes 

  • Build and maintain internal operations and consulting relationships to ensure the function is continuously providing useful tools and support 

  • Identify and suggest process updates to support assigned initiatives, partnering with the team to implement. Support project management efforts for one-time projects including the evaluation and selections of tools, system implementations, etc. 

  • Coordinate and support assigned programs by setting agendas, facilitating forums, and assisting with related activities  

  • Research latest research and best practices related to talent development   

  • Cross train with team member(s) to provide back-up support as necessary   

  • Complete projects and other duties as assigned   

  • Administer knowledge capital resources 

  • Other duties as assigned 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher, business degree preferred 

  • Participation over time in two or more extracurricular activities   

  • Leadership roles (academic, work, or extracurricular)   

  • Work experience that may include full or part-time work (paid or volunteer), full-time work during summers, and/or volunteer work (0-1 years total)  

  • Basic proficiency with MS Office product suite (Preferred: Intermediate proficiency with MS Office product suite)  

  • Strong business writing and verbal information-sharing abilities  

  • Basic presentation and meeting facilitation abilities   

  • Preferred: Certification related to discipline of expertise
