About the Role

The Associate Talent Business Partner is a key member of YETI’s Talent team, serving as a primary point of contact for managers and employees across assigned business groups. This role supports day-to-day people needs, including performance management, employee relations, and core Talent processes, while partnering closely with Talent Business Partners, Operations, and Centers of Excellence.

This position blends hands-on execution with frontline advisory support—resolving most inquiries independently while identifying risks and escalating when needed.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a primary resource for managers and employees on day-to-day HR/Talent matters

  • Support performance management processes, including coaching managers and ensuring proper documentation

  • Manage employee relations intake, including fact-finding, documentation, and escalation support

  • Execute core Talent processes (performance cycles, onboarding, surveys) and drive completion

  • Prepare and maintain Talent data, reporting, and documentation with high accuracy

  • Identify trends and risks and partner with TBPs on resolution

  • Collaborate with Talent Operations and COEs to deliver consistent programs and policies

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of HR experience, including employee relations and operations

  • Experience supporting managers and handling employee inquiries in a fast-paced environment

  • Working knowledge of performance management and HR policies

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Sound judgment and ability to balance independent problem-solving with escalation

  • Clear, professional communication skills
