Key Responsibilities :

This position plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring safe and effective production environments. This position focuses on process design, capacity planning, and continuous improvement, while supporting new product introductions and factory layout optimization. Working both in office and on the production floor—including significant time in cleanroom environments—the role combines analytical expertise with hands-on implementation to enhance productivity, safety, and operational performance.

  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes through methods engineering, time & motion studies, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity
  • Lead Industrial Engineering projects from evaluation to implementation, including cost analysis, ROI assessment, and performance tracking
  • Design and optimize plant layouts, including cleanroom spaces, production bays, material staging, and material handling systems to improve space utilization and workflow
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing line design, material flow, tooling, and production setup (PLC/ePLC deliverables)
  • Conduct ergonomics and human factors assessments, implementing improvements to ensure safe and effective work environments
  • Develop and maintain capacity models for workforce, equipment, space, and materials, providing guidance to optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and logistics teams to implement innovative solutions for manufacturing and material transport
  • Establish and standardize processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with quality standards and best practices
  • Perform simulations and data analysis to support decision-making and operational improvements
  • Act as a role model for safety, compliance, and company values, with active presence on the production floor (including cleanroom environments)
  • Leads ergonomics / human factors initiatives, develops process improvements, and provides engineering solutions.  Drives and implements Ergonomic improvements across multiple functions.  
  • Leads manufacturing rearrangement projects and ensures that plant layouts, material flow and warehousing designs are optimized for cost, capability and capacity.  Leads manufacturing and warehouse rearrangement projects across multiple functions; coordinates the efforts of other IE's to achieve plan of record objectives.
  • Develops the  capacity/demand analysis business processes and ensures that  capacity planning processes are deployed and maintained across multiple functions.   Develops solutions to address capacity constraints and works with Operations and Logistics organizations to implement these solutions prior to production ramp.  Leads manufacturing and logistics  initiatives to improve factory asset utilization and production processes.
  • Leads the effort to establish and document business processes across multiple functions.

Other Requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in manufacturing environments (cleanroom experience is a must)
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools
  • Ability to perform ROI analysis and simulations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
