Tenstorrent is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract) to help scale the engineering teams building the future of AI compute. In this 12-month contract role, you'll partner closely with software engineering leaders to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across AI, machine learning, systems software, and related technical domains. This is an opportunity to own recruiting strategy for some of Tenstorrent’s most technical software teams and build the hiring experience in AI compute, one of the most important markets in the world right now.

This role is remote, based out of the United States with a preference near one of our main office hubs Austin, TX; Santa Clara,CA; or Toronto, ON.

Who You Are

  • Experienced technical recruiter with 4+ years of success hiring software engineers and AI/ML talent. Bonus points for low level systems engineers, hardware engineers, or other highly specialized technical profiles.
  • Creative talent hunter who enjoys solving difficult hiring challenges and uncovering exceptional candidates in competitive markets.
  • Trusted partner to hiring managers and leadership teams, capable of influencing decisions through data, market insights, and strong communication.
  • Adaptable and self-directed, thriving in fast-changing environments where priorities evolve quickly and ownership is valued.

What We Need

  • Partner with software engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, talent pipelines, and recruiting roadmaps that support aggressive growth goals.
  • Build and execute innovative sourcing approaches across traditional channels, professional networks, referrals, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience that reflects Tenstorrent’s values and strengthens our employer brand throughout the hiring process.
  • Share market intelligence, recruiting best practices, and operational insights that help improve hiring outcomes across the broader recruiting team.

Target compensation for this position will be $60-75/hr based on experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
