The Role

We're looking for a Technical Account Manager to own the onboarding, technical implementation, and ongoing success of our advertising demand partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with relationship management and data analysis.

TuneIn operates a complex advertising ecosystem spanning audio, video, and display across multiple ad serving platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with SSPs, DSPs, and internal stakeholders to ensure integrations are successful, revenue is optimized, and operational processes continue to scale as our business grows.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Scope of Work

Partner & Technical Account Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day technical contact for demand partners, including SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and other programmatic partners.
  • Lead the onboarding, implementation, and maintenance of new demand partners across platforms such as SpringServe, Prebid, Google Ad Manager, AppLovin MAX, and other advertising technologies.
  • Monitor partner performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot delivery, integration, and performance issues, working with both internal teams and external partners to drive timely resolution.
  • Maintain strong partner relationships while ensuring operational excellence and accountability.


Revenue Operations & Analytics 

  • Monitor and analyze revenue performance across programmatic advertising channels.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze trends, identify revenue opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support forecasting, performance reviews, and business planning through data-driven insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Engineering, and Project Management teams to improve operational workflows and partner integrations.
  • Help establish scalable processes and documentation as the Revenue Operations organization continues to grow.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices across programmatic advertising operations.
Strategic Partnership Support
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing demand relationships and support the evaluation and onboarding of new partners.
  • Stay current on trends, technologies, and privacy developments within the digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Represent TuneIn professionally in partner meetings and, when appropriate, at industry conferences and events.

Requirements 

Required Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Programmatic Advertising, Technical Account Management, Revenue Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience managing technical relationships with SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, or other programmatic partners.
  • Hands-on experience with ad servers and programmatic advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience translating data into business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of VAST tags and video advertising workflows.
  • Experience working with DSPs and programmatic advertising technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager.
  • Experience with Prebid Server.
  • Understanding of privacy frameworks and signals.
  • Experience working with audio advertising is a plus.

TuneIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. To determine your compensation, we take a market-based approach, meaning pay may vary depending on your location, and we also carefully consider several factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, and professional experience.

The expected starting salary for this position ranges from $100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000/year in our highest geographic market and may be modified in the future. 

The compensation package also includes a wide range of medical plans, a flexible PTO policy, parental leave, various stipends, and other benefits listed above, as well as an attractive equity package.
