Technical Business Analyst

The Role
As a Technical Business Analyst at Capco, you will play a critical role in delivering data management and transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment across business, data, and technology teams. You will also support Agile delivery by managing backlogs, tracking progress, and contributing to solution design and implementation.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements
  • Translate requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery
  • Support data-focused initiatives by working closely with data architects and analysts on solution design
  • Track project progress, manage backlogs, and coordinate releases using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Contribute to testing, implementation, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in Agile environments
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server; MongoDB is a plus) and data analysis
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design artifacts
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working on data management or data lineage projects
  • Familiarity with UAT planning, execution, and documentation
  • Experience with process modeling, wireframes, or design documentation
  • Experience identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Experience working in financial services or consulting environments
