The Technical Marketing Manager creates technical content to support sales and marketing efforts, collaborates with teams, and translates technical concepts for audiences.
At Unstructured, we enable enterprises to build reliable, scalable GenAI systems by transforming messy, unstructured data into AI-ready inputs. Our platform underpins modern RAG and AI data pipelines, and our customers rely on us to get quality, performance, and reliability right.
We’re hiring a Technical Marketing Manager to strengthen how we communicate our technology across campaigns, launches, sales motions, and competitive contexts. This role owns the creation of technically credible content that supports sales enablement, email and social communications, and longer-form marketing assets such as white papers and e-books.
You’ll be the bridge between product, marketing, sales, and customers — turning deep technical capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that educates buyers, supports pipeline growth, and enables teams to confidently articulate the value of our platform.
Preferred Location(s): San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento and Seattle
What You’ll Own & Drive
Enable sales and GTM teams with credible, technically grounded decks, demos, emails, and narratives.
Own creation of external-facing technical marketing content across email, social, and long-form formats (e-books, white papers, guides, comparison content)
Own competitive analysis of tools, architectures, and approaches. Produce battle cards, comparison guides, and objection-handling resources.
Translate product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and business audiences.
Develop and maintain technical messaging for website content and sales enablement materials.
Support feature launches with assets that help internal teams explain “what changed, why it matters, and how it works.”
Gather technical insights from the industry to inform messaging, product positioning, and GTM strategies.
What You Bring
~2–5 years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, solutions architecture, consulting, or similar roles, preferably in AI, data, or ETL.
Strong technical writing skills with an eye for clarity, precision, and accuracy.
Comfortable presenting and explaining technical concepts to both internal and external audiences.
Proactive and collaborative. You’ll partner with product and engineering to ensure messaging is technically accurate and aligned.
Understanding of how data engineers and ML teams evaluate and deploy GenAI systems.
Ability to synthesize product details, customer insights, and competitive context into actionable narratives.
Bonus Points
Experience with AI, data platforms, ETL, or developer tools.
Familiarity with RAG systems, vector databases, or unstructured data processing.
Experience building sales enablement materials for technical products.
Why You’ll Love It Here
High Impact: Your work improves every GTM motion, from campaigns to sales conversations.
Technical Credibility: Operate at a depth most marketing roles never reach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and customers.
Shape the Category: Help define how the industry understands unstructured data ETL and GenAI pipelines.
