We support a global community of technical experts, developers, and IT professionals. We are seeking a highly technical Operations & Automation Specialist to help scale program operations, improve support experiences, and build AI-assisted workflows that increase efficiency across the program.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, experimenting with new tools, and asking:

"How can we automate this?"

This is not a traditional support position. Success in this role requires a builder mindset, strong technical curiosity, and the ability to operate independently.

In This Role You Will

  • Execute and improve automation workflows using AI tools, agents, command-line interfaces, and scripting.
  • Create and maintain structured knowledge content to support AI-assisted workflows, prompt libraries, and knowledge systems.
  • Triage and resolve technical and operational issues affecting program members.
  • Investigate problems, identify patterns, and drive root cause resolution.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and implement process improvements.
  • Design and iterate on AI-assisted support experiences, response templates, and knowledge-grounding strategies.
  • Track recurring issues and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to internal tooling, documentation, and self-service experiences.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies that can improve workflows and increase scale.

Required Qualifications

Development & Technical Experience

  • Experience building solutions using modern frameworks, cloud services, APIs, and data services.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
  • Experience working with Git-based workflows and tools such as GitHub and VS Code.
  • Comfortable using command-line tools and debugging technical issues.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems such as GitHub Issues, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or similar.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them to operational challenges.
Problem Solving
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to navigate ambiguous scenarios.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify patterns and drive process improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting customer-facing or partner-facing programs.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with .NET technologies.
  • Experience building internal tools or automation solutions.
  • Exposure to prompt engineering, knowledge management, or AI workflow design.
  • Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
  • Experience creating reusable templates, documentation, or self-service content.
What Success Looks Like

  • You proactively identify inefficiencies and automate repetitive work.
  • You leverage AI tools to improve both personal productivity and team workflows.
  • You are comfortable exploring unfamiliar technologies and learning independently.
  • You create clarity through documentation and written communication.
  • You solve problems before they become escalations.
  • You continuously improve systems rather than simply react to issues.
  • You operate with a high degree of ownership and minimal oversight.
Ideal Backgrounds

Candidates may come from areas such as:

  • Software Engineering
  • Developer Support Engineering
  • Technical Program Operations
  • DevOps Engineering
  • Cloud Operations

Strong candidates will demonstrate a combination of development experience, automation mindset, operational ownership, and technical curiosity.
