How Will You Make an Impact?- 

The Program Manager –  Digital Operations and Transformation is responsible for leading the global strategy, execution, and transformation of enterprise resource capacity planning capabilities across Jabil engineering organizations within Intelligent Infrastructure. 

This role operates at a strategic level, driving alignment between business priorities, engineering demand, workforce planning, and financial targets. The Program Manager partners with senior leadership across Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and Business Operations to establish scalable planning frameworks, enforce data integrity, and deliver actionable insights that enable confident portfolio decisions. 

This position requires strong program leadership, deep expertise in resource capacity management, and the ability to influence global stakeholders to adopt standardized tools and processes (e.g., Tempus Resource) that improve visibility into demand, capacity, and execution readiness. 

 

What Will You Do?- 

  • Own and lead the global resource capacity management program, including strategy, roadmap, governance, and execution 

  • Drive enterprise adoption and standardization of resource planning tools and processes across engineering organizations 

  • Act as the “voice of the customer” by translating customer needs into our digital capabilities, tools, and business operations 

  • Partner with senior engineering and business leaders to align demand, capacity, and workforce planning to business priorities and long-term strategy 

  • Establish and enforce global planning cadences (monthly, quarterly, long-range), ensuring consistency and accountability across organizations 

  • Provide executive-level insights into capacity vs. demand, utilization trends, and portfolio risks to support decision-making 

  • Lead scenario planning and trade-off analysis to optimize resource allocation across competing priorities and programs 

  • Identify structural capacity gaps (skills, geography, labor types) and partner with leadership on hiring, redeployment, or outsourcing strategies 

  • Ensure high data integrity across all resource planning systems, including resource attributes, project demand, and allocation data 

  • Drive integration of resource planning with financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning 

  • Lead cross-functional programs to improve planning efficiency, automation, and reporting capabilities 

  • Champion continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and data models to scale with organizational growth 

  • Lead global change management efforts, including training, communications, and stakeholder alignment 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for resource capacity management and planning methodologies 

  • Ensure compliance with Jabil policies related to safety, quality, and data security 

 

How will you get there? -  

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

  • Experience: 8–12 years of experience in Program Management, PMO leadership, Engineering Operations, or Resource Planning is required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience leading global, cross-functional programs with senior stakeholder engagement 

  • Deep expertise in resource capacity management, demand forecasting, and workforce planning 

  • Strong analytical capability with experience translating complex data into strategic insights 

  • Proven experience with enterprise planning or portfolio management tools (e.g., Tempus Resource, Planview, Adaptive, similar platforms) 

  • Strong communication and executive presence with ability to influence at all organizational levels

  • Enterprise program leadership and strategy

  • Resource capacity planning & demand management 

  • Executive communication and influence

  • Data-driven decision-making and analytics

  • Process standardization and scaling

  • Change management and transformation leadership

  • Cross-functional alignment at global scale 

  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading enterprise-wide tool deployments or digital transformation initiatives 

  • Strong understanding of capacity metrics such as base capacity, net capacity, allocation, and availability  

  • Experience aligning engineering resource planning with financial and long-range planning processes 

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is a plus

  • Experience in large-scale engineering or technology organizations 

 

 WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Office or remote environment will be considered

  • Ability to operate effectively across global time zones and organizations 

 

Hiring Salary range: $105,100- 147,200 - $189, 200 USD Annual
