About the TPgM team and internship role
The Technical Program Manager (TPgM) intern will contribute to fast-paced, cross-functional projects, helping to define scope, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders. They will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Customer Support Engineer, Security, Special Projects, ETI, and Design teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time. This role provides exposure to the entire product lifecycle and technical operations at Cloudflare. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and effective communicator who is eager to learn how to manage complex technical programs. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset and a genuine passion for technology and process improvement. We are looking for interns who are adept at communicating, hungry to learn, and proficient in forms of automation tooling, including utilizing AI.

Role Responsibilities
- Work with a mentor TPgM who will guide them throughout the internship and advise their projects.
- Be tasked with a wide range of projects and teams to work with, either for process improvements, small projects/tasks, and creating efficiencies in getting things done.
- Learn to communicate effectively, manage stakeholder expectations, and shadow projects with a wide pool of experienced TPgMs from different backgrounds and expertise.
- Learn how products and initiatives are delivered effectively in a fast paced every changing environment.
- Become proficient in tools and methodologies to start your career as a TPgM.

Role Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters program in MIS, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business with deep level of technical curiosity, or relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn, iterate, and take feedback well
- Can read the room
- Curiosity of our technical stack and be able to understand/learn how to work with multiple functions (development, design, product, operations,etc)
- Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship.
- In office 3-5 days a week.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Ability to grok knowledge/data into presentations, summaries, status reports, narratives
- Software development experience
Compensation
- $25-30/hr
