About Quilter

At Quilter, we are helping electrical engineers save time and accomplish more by automating the tedious and time-consuming task of designing printed circuit boards (PCBs). Our small team is composed of experts in electrical engineering, electromagnetic simulation, ML/AI, and high-performance computing (HPC). We are inventing and leveraging novel techniques to solve the decades-old problem of automating circuit board design where today hundreds of billions of dollars are spent. We have raised $25 million in Series B funding from some of the very best and are charging full-speed toward our goal.

No matter where we come from, we're united by a common vision for the future and a core set of values we think will get us there:

  1. Focus on the mission

  2. Build great things that help humans

  3. Demonstrate grit

  4. Never stop learning

  5. Pursue excellence

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our small, fast-moving team. You’ll play a key role in helping us execute complex engineering initiatives, streamline workflows, and strengthen cross-functional communication across the company. This is a highly collaborative role that requires clarity, ownership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment.

What You’ll Do

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and executive stakeholders to ensure projects are well-defined, aligned, and moving forward efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation

  • Leading multiple daily standups/scrums across several teams

  • Managing multiple complex software development and process improvement projects simultaneously

  • Driving continuous improvement in project processes and standard methodologies

  • Navigating complex collaborator relationships with persistence, clarity, and influence

  • Guiding collaborators through ambiguous situations, assisting them in defining their objectives, crafting strategic alignment, and developing project plans to achieve them

  • Balancing competing priorities and adapting quickly as requirements evolve

  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and risk assessments to senior management and executives, ensuring alignment and transparency

Requirements
  • Ability to work standard hours within the Pacific time zone

  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management or customer success roles

  • Highly motivated and comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills and a natural inclination to ask clarifying questions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with early-stage products or in a startup environment

  • History of successfully managing complex projects for culturally, geographically, and functionally diverse teams

  • Comfortable with various organizational and planning tools (we use Linear, Notion, Figma, GitLab, Slack)

Bonus Points
  • CS/CE degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience

  • Experience with PCB design, electronics, or CAD/EDA tooling

Please note: We are an equal opportunity employer. At this time, we are focused on hiring primarily within the US, with occasional exception to accommodate exceptional talent.

What we offer:
  • Interesting and challenging work

  • Competitive salary and equity benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Regular team events and offsites (~2x / year)

  • Unlimited paid time off

  • Paid parental leave
