The company empowers customers to uncover, take action, and rapidly recover from cyberattacks – keeping data safe and businesses resilient. The company’s unique AI-powered platform combines best-in-class data protection, exceptional data security, advanced data intelligence, and lightning-fast recovery across any workload or cloud at the lowest TCO. For over 25 years, more than 100,000 organizations and a vast partner ecosystem have relied on Commvault to reduce risks, improve governance, and do more with data.

We’re hiring for a Technical Solutions Marketing Manager, a rare hybrid of technologist and storyteller.   This isn’t traditional product marketing or technical pre-sales. This role lives in the intersection of architecture, partnerships, and market narrative.  You will take complex, multi-platform solutions across cloud, AI, and cybersecurity and translate them into clear, differentiated, and memorable stories that technical buyers and business leaders understand.

What You’ll Do:

Turn complexity into clarity

  • Translate and develop high-impact content that explains how our solutions work—not just what they do

  • Build clear technical narratives that connect architecture → outcomes → business value

  • Create solution briefs, blogs, whitepapers, and presentations that stand up to scrutiny from deeply technical audiences

Own the partner solution story

  • Define and articulate the value of joint solutions and why they win, across established and emerging partnerships

  • Highlight differentiation in how Commvault’s partner solutions benefit customers most, how they uniquely solve customer challenges, and where alternatives fall short

  • Drive messaging alignment across Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Alliances, and Field teams

Be the connective tissue across teams

  • Collaborate across product, sales, and marketing to turn fragmented inputs into a single, coherent story.

  • Translate technical inputs into customer-facing narratives without losing market clarity

  • Align teams around on what matters, not everything that exists

Bring solutions to life

  • Develop content for a wide range of audiences, from internal teams to partners,  press, and analysts

  • Support industry events, partner showcases, and executive briefings

  • Enable field teams with clear, credible, and compelling messaging

Stay ahead of what’s next

  • Maintain a strong understanding of modern technologies including cloud computing, GenAI, and cybersecurity

  • Quickly ramp on new technologies and translate them into meaningful go-to-market narratives

  • Turn emerging trends into messaging advantage

What You Bring:

Technical fluency

  • Strong grasp of modern technology landscapes -- cloud, AI/ML, data platforms, and cybersecurity

  • Ability to interpret architecture-level concepts and explain them clearly

  • Comfort getting hands-on or digging deep enough to ask the right questions

Marketing discipline

  • Proven ability to create tight, yet compelling, audience-aware technical content

  • Skilled at simplifying without oversimplifying

  • Ability to build narratives that drive understanding, not just awareness

Narrative Strength

  • You don’t just describe features, you explain why they matter and the outcomes they drive.

  • You can tailor your message for: Builders and architects;  IT and security leaders;  Partners and analysts

Cross-functional leadership

  • Experience working across product, engineering, partner teams, and go-to-market organizations

  • Ability to influence without authority and bring alignment across stakeholders

Operator mindset

  • You learn fast, ask sharp questions, and connect dots others miss

  • You’re energized by ambiguity and can turn it into structured, actionable output

Why This Role Matters:

This role is critical to how Commvault shows up in the market, especially as the lines blur across data protection, cloud platforms, security, and AI. Our customers don’t buy products, they buy solutions that work together.

Your job is to help them understand:

  • How it all fits together

  • Why it’s differentiated

  • Why Commvault is essential to making it work

What Success Looks Like

  • Our partner solutions are clearly understood, not just broadly described

  • Field teams can confidently tell the story without overcomplicating it

  • Analysts, partners, and prospects recognize Commvault’s differentiation

  • Complex technologies feel intuitive, credible, and compelling

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Work at the center of cloud, AI, and cybersecurity innovation

  • Shape how Commvault shows up with its most strategic partners

  • Build content that actually gets used—by sales, partners, and leadership

  • Collaborate with teams that value both technical depth and creative clarity

If you’re someone who can connect architecture to outcomes—and turn technical truth into marketing impact—we want to talk to you!
