At The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC, our expert legal team is a driving force behind our continued success. We’re in search of an experienced Tenant Law Case Manager – Virtual Assistant to join our team and provide strong case management and client support in California Tenant Law matters.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain tenant law cases throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely case updates.
  • Monitor case progress and ensure all necessary documents and information are obtained.
  • Assist with client intake, case organization, and follow-up.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain case-related documents and records.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, deadlines, and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files within the case management system.
  • Coordinate appointments, communications, and other case-related activities.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the case.
  • Provide general administrative and virtual support to the legal team.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of Case Manager or similar legal experience in California Tenant Law.
  • Hands-on experience handling California Tenant Law cases is required.
  • Strong understanding of California Tenant Law terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Experience managing cases from intake through resolution.
  • Strong client communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with legal case management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
