The Travel Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures, evaluates sonograms, documents findings, and communicates results to physicians while traveling to various healthcare sites.

What You'll Do:
- Perform sonographic procedures
- Travel to multiple healthcare sites within the assigned region (may include extended commute times)
- Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
- Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
- Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
- Communicate sonographic findings to physician
- Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
- Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
- Other duties assigned by managers
Is This You?
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
- 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
- Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
- Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
- Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
- Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
