The Treasury Consultant will support Deluxe’s financial institution resellers base in the ability to sell Deluxe products to their end clients. The role requires a blend of both technical acumen and B2B payments knowledge to understand how automation and new solutions can positively impact a business’s working capital. Partnering directly with assigned financial institution treasury sales team, the Treasury Consultant will engage directly with customers and serve as the subject matter expert on the Deluxe solutions during their sales cycle. It is critical that the individual maintain successful partnerships with the assigned treasury sales teams to continue to drive co-selling of Deluxe solutions.
  • Conduct process assessments to identify friction points in client’s current B2B payments ecosystem and identify areas for automation with Deluxe solutions
  • Consult with customers in helping to build compelling business cases through use of ROI tools
  • Coach and advise reseller client on opportunities, becoming an integral part of the client sales team from the start
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and technical sales resource for covered solutions within assigned re-seller partners
  • Create and drive strategic solutioning for products, focusing on answering technical product questions, conducting product demos, and providing strategic pricing recommendations for clients
  • Maintain close partnerships with the assigned treasury management organization, understanding and adapting to their methods and practices
  • Provide ad-hoc support for answering technical product questions for prospects and RFP responses

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 3+ years experience Treasury Management / Payments
  • 1+ year(s) experience in working directly with ERP integrations and payments process optimization
  • 1+ years experience in Sales or Sales Engineering roles
  • OR HS/GED and 7 years’ experience in Treasury Management and payments process optimization
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in Treasury Management or Payments Technology Consulting
  • 3 years’ experience in payments sales or sales engineering role
  • CTP Certification

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
