A Global Payments & Liquidity Sales Director will serve as accountable sales executive with direct alignment to a Commercial Banking division. In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a Treasury Management Consulting team of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate to high complexity and risk.
- Accountable to build and implement sales and product strategies based on market and industry trends in coordination with peers and CB partners.
- Align relationship planning and sales strategy with marketing initiatives, sales tools and ensure a consistent delivery across GPL and CB.
- Responsible for sales results through the execution of growth strategies which lead to market share improvement, delivery of the full product suite and reinforce a continuous improvement sales culture.
- Ensures the team is accountable for the full sales cycle, including realized financial results, escalations, client retention and works seamlessly with GPL Implementation, Sales Support, Product and other stakeholders for best-in-class customer experience.
- Assist in identifying growth goals, wallet and penetration objectives, sales and key performance indicators for responsible area and the sales teams.
- Leverage AI, sales tools, and data analysis to forecast sales trends, identify potential opportunities, and market specific strategies.
- Supports and drives consistency in setting performance expectations, measuring performance, and identifying training needs and resources for sales force.
- Continuously works to strengthen risk and control infrastructure around sales procedures, policies, activities, and product placement; identifies and mitigates risk, contributes to improving controls, and participates in issues management when necessary.
- 10+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the GPL product suite (including merchant, F/X) and delivery platforms
- In-depth understanding of Commercial Banking's client segments, industries and clients
- Executive presence and the ability to drive outcomes through influencing at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated strategic vision with the ability to lead execution across multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to operate in a highly matrixed and global environment with multiple and senior stakeholders
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
