    • Mechanical Design, Bearing Design, Seal Design, Rotor dynamics; balancing fundamentals, and/or DFM, GD&T and blueprint review
  • Track record of a clear communication process between design, manufacturing, and test operations to ensure products meets all specifications.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in turbomachinery design, development, and testing.
  • Experience operating in ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified organizations.
  • Demonstrated success as project lead.
  • Working knowledge of thermodynamics of incompressible flows and cryogenic fluids.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with basic principles of design for additive manufacturing
  • Liquid propellant rocket engine design, test, or analysis
  • Experience with structural and thermal analysis using Ansys FEA software
  • Experience of 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation in CAD
