Remote UI tester responsible for testing interfaces across devices and browsers, identifying and reporting bugs, performing regression testing, collaborating with developers, delivering feedback reports, and recommending UX improvements while staying current with testing tools and practices.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
1. UI Testing: Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces to ensure they are intuitive, responsive, and adhere to design specifications. Includes testing on various devices and browsers.
2. Bug Identification: Proactively identify, document, and report bugs and glitches in website or software applications.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand the requirements and functionalities of the applications.
4. Feedback and Reports: Provide detailed feedback and compile reports on UI experience and bug findings to help improve application quality.
5. Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests after fixes and updates to ensure previous functionalities remain intact.
6. User Experience Enhancement: Suggest improvements to enhance user experience based on testing outcomes.
7. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Requirements:
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Proven experience in UI testing and bug tracking (specify years of experience required).
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools and software like Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
