The Senior Analyst in Revenue Operations analyzes financial impacts of complex deals, supports governance, and collaborates cross-functionally to improve processes and mentor junior analysts.
The Deal Desk is a centralized, corporate Revenue Operations function responsible for governing non-standard, high-value commercial deals across PointClickCare. The team partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership to ensure pricing, billing, and contractual decisions balance customer flexibility with disciplined financial standards. This role operates as a senior individual contributor within the Deal Desk, supporting strategic deal reviews and serving as a trusted advisor on complex commercial structures. The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in enabling deal velocity while maintaining consistency, transparency, and governance.
Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst, RevOps Deal Desk supports PointClickCare’s centralized Deal Desk by leading financial analysis, deal structuring, and preparation for complex, non-standard commercial deals. This role exists to provide rigorous, data-driven insights that inform pricing,
billing, and contract decisions for high-impact opportunities. The Senior Analyst partners closely with the Manager, RevOps Deal Desk, to evaluate risk, assess tradeoffs, and ensure deals align with established governance standards. This position requires strong judgment, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Deal Analysis & Reporting
· Lead financial and commercial analysis for non-standard and high-value deals
· Build and review complex pricing models, billing ramps, and revenue forecasts
· Assess financial impact, risk, and tradeoffs associated with discounts, term changes, and concessions, and overall deal economics
· Support developing, maintaining, and applying customer whitespace analyses and TAM/SAM estimates to evaluate deal size, growth potential, and long-term value for strategic and non-standard opportunities
· Prepare Deal Desk materials, recommendations, and executive-ready summaries, as well as reporting on key deal metrics
· Ensure deal assumptions, risks, and approvals are clearly documented
Deal Desk Execution & Governance Support
· Support weekly Deal Desk meetings by presenting analysis, answering questions, and providing recommendations
· Apply and reinforce approved pricing frameworks, discount thresholds, and contract standard
· Identify deviations from standard policy and escalate appropriately
· Partner with the Manager to ensure consistent application of governance rules across deals
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Advisory
· Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to evaluate deal structures and resolve issues
· Provide guidance to Sales on pricing mechanics, billing structures, and approval requirements
· Collaborate with Finance to validate revenue impact and forecasting assumptions
Process Improvement & Standardization
· Identify recurring deal patterns and contribute to improvements in pricing frameworks and Deal Desk policies
· Help document Deal Desk processes, approval criteria, and decision logic
· Support initiatives that improve deal turnaround time while maintaining control
· Support the standardization and documentation of whitespace and TAM/SAM methodologies to ensure consistent application across Deal Desk reviews and stakeholders
· Assist in developing templates, tools, and models used across the Deal Desk
Mentorship & Analyst Support
· Provide guidance and informal mentorship to Deal Desk Analyst
- Review analyst work for accuracy, consistency, and clarity
· Support skill development in financial modeling and deal evaluation
Qualfications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, analytics, or a related field
- 2–6 years of experience in Revenue Operations, pricing, finance, strategy, or deal support roles
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including pricing, discounting, and revenue forecasting
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive-ready recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting complex or non-standard commercial deals.
- Experience supporting or operating within a Deal Desk or commercial governance function
- Familiarity with quote-to-cash processes, billing models, and contract structures.
- Experience working with Sales, Finance, and Legal stakeholders
- SaaS and/or healthcare industry experience
At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The US base salary range for this position is $92,700 - $103,000 (Exempt)+ bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
