As part of the digital product team, you’ll work closely with our product managers, developers, and key stakeholders to deliver premium, digital experiences on yeti.com and yeti.ca. You’ll be responsible for transforming business goals and user insights into effective, intuitive designs that reflect the YETI brand 

UX/UI designers at YETI own the design execution from start to finishconceptualization through implementation. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving, and superior design skills.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes in Figma for eCommerce experiences. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and translate them into elegant, user-centered design solutions that effectively address business goals. 

  • Maintain consistency and scalability across digital touchpoints by adhering to and evolving the YETI style guide. 

  • Apply insights from user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform and validate design decisions. 

  • Incorporate feedback effectively and demonstrate growth through iterative design. 

  • Design responsive interfaces that maintain usability, readability, and visual hierarchy across devices and screen sizes, considering ADA standards and best practices. 

  • Package thorough and detailed designs for dev handoff, following YETI digital product standards. 

  • Provide clear, valid, and actionable UAT feedback based on measurable criteria. 

  • Stay current with eCommerce trends, UX best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh thinking and innovation to the team. 

  • Own the full design processincluding discovery, research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and implementation. 

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, delivering strategic, high-quality designs on time. 
     

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES 

  • 2+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within eCommerce or consumer-facing digital products 

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines. 

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning on shared goals in complex enterprise workflows, navigating dependencies and differing priorities. 

  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual. 

  • Deep understanding of core UI fundamentals—such as layout, hierarchy, typography, and interaction patterns—alongside design principles and best practices. 

  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and usability principles. 

  • Experience with user research methodologies, A/B testing, and data-driven design. 

  • Proficiency and efficiency designing and prototyping in Figma using auto-layout and component-based design systems 

  • Ability to present designs, articulate design decisions and sell creative ideas. 

  • Detailed portfolio showcasing relevant eCommerce design work and process.
