The VP of Marketing is a senior executive responsible for setting the strategic vision for all marketing efforts at Rankings.io. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), this leader drives measurable revenue growth through brand strategy, demand generation, product positioning, and cross-functional alignment with Sales and Client Services.

The VP of Marketing owns the marketing roadmap from top to bottom—establishing long-term strategy, forecasting pipeline contribution, scaling high-performing teams, and leading innovation across digital channels. This role requires an exceptional strategist who can also operationalize execution, ensuring daily activities ladder up to company-wide revenue and growth goals.

This individual will elevate Rankings.io’s position as the premier Performance Marketing agency for personal injury law firms and architect a marketing engine that delivers consistent, high-quality demand across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Vision
  • Define the long-term marketing vision that aligns with CRO-led revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Translate company growth objectives into integrated marketing strategies across brand, content, digital, demand generation, and partnerships.
  • Lead competitive positioning and refine messaging to clearly differentiate Rankings.io in the legal marketing space.
Revenue & Demand Generation
  • Own the full-funnel demand generation strategy, ensuring predictable and scalable pipeline contribution.
  • Partner with the CRO and Sales leadership on forecasting, scoring models, and conversion optimization.
  • Implement marketing attribution and analytics frameworks to measure ROI and improve decision-making.
Team Building & Organizational Leadership
  • Lead and grow a multidisciplinary marketing team, setting performance expectations, career paths, and accountability structures.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven experimentation, operational excellence, and creative innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, and Leadership to ensure unified go-to-market execution.
Brand, Content & Market Positioning
  • Oversee brand strategy, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints—web, social, creative, campaigns, and communications.
  • Guide content strategy, including thought leadership, SEO content, digital assets, video, and multimedia.
  • Strengthen Rankings.io’s industry presence through strategic PR, speaking opportunities, and partnerships.
Innovation, Insights & Market Intelligence
  • Stay ahead of digital marketing advancements, AI-powered tools, and SEO/SEM trends that impact law firm growth.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Champion the adoption of emerging technologies to improve efficiency and creative output.
Events, Partnerships & External Relationships
  • Oversee the strategy and ROI for conferences, trade shows, webinars, and sponsorships.
  • Develop and maintain high-value industry partnerships that support awareness, lead generation, and brand authority.
  • Serve as a senior spokesperson for Rankings.io in key industry environments.
Budget Management & Operational Excellence
  • Own the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across initiatives.
  • Oversee vendor, contractor, and agency relationships to ensure cost-efficient, high-impact outcomes.
  • Establish systems, processes, and dashboards that enhance marketing operations and forecasting accuracy.

Requirements
  • 8–12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including at least 5 years in senior or executive roles.
  • Proven success leading marketing strategy for high-growth B2B, digital marketing, or agency environments.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, demand generation, analytics, and brand development.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with experience owning pipeline metrics and marketing-sourced revenue.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams.
  • Experience implementing AI-driven marketing tools is preferred.
