Job Summary

Asurion is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Partnerships and Business Development leader to drive new business initiatives and deepen our relationship with an existing high-profile client. In this consultative selling role, you will leverage a deep understanding of both Asurion’s and our external partner’s needs to craft transformative strategies and compelling solutions that deliver tangible value. Your strong financial acumen and ability to align solutions with evolving market challenges will be essential in developing impactful, innovative programs across various divisions for our client. This is a high-visibility role that demands cross-functional collaboration, executive stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver against ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our client’s senior decision-makers, gaining a deep understanding of their unique challenges and identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that positions Asurion as a trusted partner and thought leader for our client’s evolving customer needs.
  • Build and present compelling transformative strategies backed by business cases, outlining clear ROI and financial benefits for both our client and Asurion.
  • Partner with internal teams—Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations—to align strategies and prioritize roadmaps.
  • Build trust-based senior-level relationships and continuously identify new partnership opportunities within our client’s business units to expand engagement and revenue potential.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to anticipate needs and position Asurion at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B business development, enterprise sales, or consulting with a proven history of cultivating high-value partnerships
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated consultative selling expertise, including the ability to craft complex solution proposals aligned to customer needs
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop ROI-driven business cases and manage P&Ls
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at navigating senior-level stakeholder discussions
  • Proven record of thriving in cross-functional environments and influencing diverse teams toward a shared vision
  • Demonstrated success in closing large and transformative deals
