The role

We're seeking a dynamic VP of Product Management to join our Core Leadership Team, spearheading our product strategy and fostering innovation across our organization. With a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution, you'll leverage deep market insights and collaborative cross-functional efforts to shape the future direction of our offerings, ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry. If you're passionate about shaping product vision and leading impactful change, we'd love to connect with you!

Where you’ll work

This is primarily a remote role, but we encourage occasional visits to our office in Austin for team collaboration, key meetings, or whenever it adds value to your work.

What you’ll be doing

  • Defining and communicating a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with company objectives and customer needs.

  • Ensuring that product teams are focused on outcomes over output, solving the most valuable problems rather than just delivering features.

  • Challenging feature requests that do not align with strategic objectives, guiding teams toward impactful solutions.

  • Partnering with the executive team to shape business strategy and advocate for product-led growth.

What you’ll need

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 10 years of experience in Product Management, with a minimum of 4 years of experience leading product management teams.

  • In-depth understanding of user experience and design.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an analytical mindset and attention to documentation.

  • Proven track record of implementing operational and data-driven processes.

  • Ability to think holistically and connect the dots between enterprise-level tools and end-user experiences.

  • Experience working directly with engineering and design teams, utilizing agile frameworks.

  • Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects involving internal and external clients.

  • Experience in improving user experiences and advocating for change.

Perks of working for ShiftKey

  • Inclusive and collaborative work environment.

  • Office space making the hybrid work environment fun and engaging.

  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage.

  • Benefits effective as of the first day.

  • Progressive PTO & Company-paid holidays with a broad selection of floating holidays to honor employees’ diverse needs.
