Vice President, Product Monetization 

Infoblox is seeking a Vice President, Product Monetization to join our Product leadership team in the United States (Remote or Hybrid), reporting to the Chief Product Officer. 

In this pivotal role, you will define and scale Infoblox’s global pricing, packaging, and licensing strategy across our cloud-first networking and security portfolio. You will lead the monetization strategy that ensures our products deliver maximum customer value while driving sustainable revenue growth. 

This executive will partner closely with Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Engineering to create scalable monetization models that accelerate adoption, optimize lifetime value, and support Infoblox’s continued transition to cloud and subscription-based offerings.  

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do 

  • Define the global pricing, packaging, and licensing strategy across SaaS, subscription, consumption, and hybrid offerings 
  • Own the end‑to‑end pricing lifecycle, including strategy, governance, execution, and constant optimization 
  • Develop scalable monetization frameworks that support enterprise, mid‑market, and partner‑led go‑to‑market motions 
  • Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions through monetization and value realization insights 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations to align pricing with quota design, discounting policy, and deal execution 
  • Establish pricing governance, approval workflows, and guardrails to ensure consistency and margin discipline 
  • Lead competitive analysis, market benchmarking, and willingness-to-pay research to inform pricing decisions 
  • Design packaging and licensing structures that simplify buying, accelerate sales cycles, and reduce friction for customers and partners 
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regional regulatory requirements across global markets 
  • Build and lead a high-performing team focused on product monetization and pricing excellence  

Be Prepared — What You Bring 

  • 15+ years of experience in Product Management, Monetization, Pricing Strategy, or Commercial Leadership, including executive-level roles 
  • Deep expertise in SaaS pricing, subscription and consumption models, token-based licensing, enterprise licensing agreements (ELAs), and cloud economics 
  • Experience designing pay-as-you-go monetization models for hyperscaler marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • Proven success operationalizing in-product metering, usage-based pricing, and volume discounting at scale 
  • Experience with product-led growth models, including freemium, trial, and try-before-you-buy conversion strategies 
  • Strong experience in margin management, unit economics, and profitability analysis to guide pricing and packaging decisions 
  • Proven success designing and operationalizing pricing strategies in B2B technology or cybersecurity companies 
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and cross-functional leaders 
  • Demonstrated ability to balance growth, customer value, and profitability in complex global organizations 
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations 
  • Data-driven approach with strong capabilities in financial modeling, pricing analytics, and KPI design 
  • Track record of building and leading high-impact product or monetization teams 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred 
  • Experience in networking, cybersecurity, or infrastructure software strongly preferred

First 90 Days: 
Immerse in Infoblox culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and establish trusted partnerships with Product, Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Engineering leaders. Assess current pricing and licensing models, identify immediate opportunities and risks, and align on short‑ and long‑term monetization goals with the Chief Product Officer. 

Six Months: 
Deliver a clear, actionable monetization strategy aligned to product roadmaps and go‑to‑market motions. Implement monetization governance frameworks, refine packaging and pricing where needed, and drive measurable improvements in deal velocity, margin discipline, and customer adoption. 

One Year: 
Establish Infoblox as a best‑in‑class monetization leader in cloud networking and security. Demonstrate sustained impact through improved ARR growth, customer lifetime value, pricing consistency, and a scalable pricing and licensing foundation that supports long‑term innovation and global expansion.

We practice pay transparency and reward performance. Offers reflect role location, internal equity, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Base salary for this position: $246,600.00 - $350,000.00 plus bonus or commissions
