Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company, is adding talent to its Austin-based team of Professional Accounting Consultants!

 

We are currently seeking an experienced VP of Finance Accounting who wants to join an amazing team, tasked with supporting our clients with a wide range of financial needs.

 

Our clients consist of mid-sized companies covering a variety of industries based in the Austin metro area. Bridgepoint Consultants provide services onsite at the client’s location and function as part of their team throughout the duration of each project.

 

Consultants at the VP of Finance Accounting level provide our clients critical senior financial management services while delivering the highest levels of professionalism and client service. They partner with a variety of individuals to achieve success, including but not limited to CEO's, executive teams, bankers, private equity firms, legal advisers and investors. Our Consultants thrive in new environments and help companies execute growth strategies, take on new initiatives and implement processes & improvements.

Job Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • Industry experience at start-ups, private equity leadership, and Big Four/public accounting is highly preferred

  • A mix of public and private company experience, strongly preferred

  • A foundation in technical accounting/SEC reporting, strongly preferred (SEC filing experience, implementation of accounting standards, and development/implementation of internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley are highly demanded skills)

  • Has previously managed the operations of a finance & accounting department as well as the other administrative functions of a fast-growing company

  • Lead transformative projects within finance organizations and implement improved financial reporting, forecasting and controls for both domestic and global organizations

  • Oversees the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives

  • Proficient in budgeting and forecasting with complex, dynamic financial models

  • NetSuite and other mid-size ERP implementation experience, strongly preferred

  • Direct experience working with venture capital and private equity investors

  • Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service

  • B.A. or B.S. required, Accounting or finance degrees required

  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
