The Endpoint Platform is a strategic pillar of the company's long-term technology vision and protects enterprise customers on a global scale. Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Vice President, Endpoint Platform Engineering to be part of making this happen.    

The Opportunity

The Vice President, Endpoint Platform Engineering will join the Engineering Leadership Team and lead the vision, architecture, execution, and operational excellence of Arctic Wolf's Endpoint Platform. This executive will oversee a globally distributed engineering organization of more than 150 engineers, managers, architects, and technical leaders across North America and India. 

The successful executive will build the next generation of endpoint protection capabilities while accelerating engineering velocity, platform scalability, AI innovation, and customer value. 

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term engineering strategy and technology roadmap for the Endpoint Platform. 

  • Lead global software engineering, platform engineering, quality engineering, and site reliability teams. 

  • Drive innovation across EDR, XDR, endpoint telemetry, behavioral analytics, identity protection, and AI-assisted security. 

  • Partner with Product Management, Threat Research, AI Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Customer Success. 

  • Build highly scalable cloud-native services capable of processing massive volumes of endpoint telemetry. 

  • Establish world-class engineering practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, secure SDLC, and engineering metrics. 

  • Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineering leaders while building a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusion. 

Leadership Profile

The ideal executive has successfully led organizations of 150+ engineers through multiple leadership layers across North America and India. They are recognized as a technology visionary, organizational builder, and operational leader capable of scaling high-performing global engineering teams while delivering mission-critical security platforms. 

Required Experience

  • 20+ years of software engineering experience with at least 10 years in executive engineering leadership. 

  • Experience leading globally distributed engineering organizations of 150+ employees. 

  • Deep expertise in endpoint security, EDR/XDR, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, Kubernetes, microservices, and high-scale telemetry platforms. 

  • Experience embedding AI/ML and Generative AI into enterprise software products. 

  • Demonstrated success building engineering organizations through periods of rapid growth and transformation. 

  • Executive-level communication skills with Boards, C-suite executives, customers, and investors.

Ideal Executive Background

Candidates will typically come from organizations building enterprise-scale cybersecurity or cloud platforms, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, SentinelOne, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Security, Sophos, Trellix, VMware Carbon Black, Wiz, Datadog, Elastic, or similarly complex cloud-native technology companies.
