As Vice President of Human Resources, you will lead all aspects of the HR function—including talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, performance and development, HR systems, and wellness. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Talent & Brand Strategy and work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure our people strategies drive business results while advancing our culture and brand.Responsibilities & Qualifications
In this role, you can expect to:
Partner with senior leaders to ensure HR strategy aligns with business priorities, organizational values, and the broader talent and brand vision.
Lead and oversee all HR disciplines: recruitment, talent management, compensation, benefits, learning and development, wellness, and HRIS.
Develop and implement HR policies and programs that are legally compliant, fair, and aligned with our culture and mission.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on people-related issues, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, leadership development, and performance management.
Guide HR technology and analytics strategy to support scalable, data-driven decision making.
Monitor evolving employment laws and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance and best practices.
Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Brand teams to advance our employer brand and employee value proposition.
What You Will Need
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field—or equivalent education and experience.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of HR best practices and evolving workplace trends.
Experience leading strategic people initiatives in dynamic, values-driven environments.
What Sets You Apart
SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
Experience leading enterprise-wide HR transformation or organizational design initiatives.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills—with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
A track record of building inclusive, high-performing teams and cultivating an engaging employee experience.
A data-informed approach to measuring and improving HR effectiveness.

The base pay is based on the market evaluation of the job. Individual base pay is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Texas Mutual’s flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
