ABOUT THE ROLE: 


This leader will own the strategy, growth, operations, and profitability of the Managed Services business, including Data Center Services and the Network Operations Center (NOC). Reporting to the SVP of Services, the VP will be responsible for expanding service offerings, driving revenue growth, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining executive-level client relationships, and leading a high-performing services organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Grow and scale the Managed Services practice while maintaining strong margins and operational performance.
  • Develop and launch new managed service offerings that align with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive bookings, revenue growth, and client retention.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key customer relationships and escalations.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of managers, employees, and contractors.
  • Establish metrics, processes, and business cases that support sustainable growth and service excellence.
  • Collaborate across the organization to align services strategy with broader company objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • 10+ years of Managed Services leadership experience within an IT services, consulting, MSP, infrastructure, cloud, or data center environment.
  • Proven success scaling and growing a Managed Services business while improving profitability and operational performance.
  • Experience owning a P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting.
  • Strong background in service portfolio development, including creating new service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
  • Executive-level customer-facing experience, including account management, escalations, renewals, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, distributed teams and build strong leadership benches.
  • Expertise driving process maturity, operational consistency, and service delivery excellence.
  • Strong sales and business development partnership experience.
  • Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and C-suite stakeholders.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
Estimated Pay Range
$250,000—$300,000 USD
