Who Will Thrive Here
What We Offer
Autonomize AI is revolutionizing healthcare by transforming how knowledge flows across the enterprise. Our AI-native platform helps healthcare organizations automate complex clinical and administrative workflows, enabling clinicians, operators, and care teams to focus on what matters most—improving patient outcomes.
We’re scaling rapidly across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market. As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re looking for an exceptional People leader to help build the organization that will define the future of AI in healthcare.
This is not a traditional HR leadership role.
We’re looking for a builder—a strategic operator who can help scale Autonomize from a fast-growing startup into an enduring company without losing the speed, ownership, and ambition that got us here.
You’ll partner directly with our CEO and executive team to shape how we hire, develop leaders, design teams, drive performance, and strengthen our culture. You’ll coach executives, solve organizational challenges before they become bottlenecks, and build systems that help exceptional people do the best work of their careers.
If you enjoy solving complex organizational problems, influencing executives, and building high-performance cultures, this role is for you.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on organizational design, talent strategy, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness.
- Bring data and insight into workforce health, engagement, retention, and organizational risks.
- Help leadership make better, faster people decisions.
- Design organizations that scale with the business.
- Lead workforce planning and headcount strategy across functions.
- Improve clarity around ownership, decision-making, and cross-functional execution.
- Guide organizational changes while maintaining momentum.
- Build and evolve a high-performance operating system for the company.
- Improve goal setting, feedback, calibration, promotions, and rewards.
- Coach executives and managers to become exceptional leaders.
- Build succession plans and develop high-potential talent.
- Translate our Culture Code into everyday behaviors, hiring decisions, and leadership expectations.
- Improve communication rhythms across the company.
- Strengthen collaboration between our U.S. and India teams.
- Lead change management during periods of rapid growth.
- Lead the broader People function while partnering with our existing People Operations team.
- Ensure scalable compensation, benefits, compliance, and people programs.
- Leverage AI and automation to modernize People workflows.
- Build dashboards and metrics that help leaders make better decisions.
In your first year, you’ll:
- Deliver a company-wide organizational and talent assessment with a clear roadmap.
- Implement a scalable workforce planning and headcount governance process.
- Build a practical performance management system that managers actually use.
- Elevate leadership capability through coaching and manager development.
- Improve communication, decision-making, and execution across teams.
- Operationalize our Culture Code throughout hiring, performance, and recognition.
- Scale the People function with better systems, automation, and analytics.
You may be a VP today—or a high-impact Head of People ready for your next challenge.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 12+ years of progressive People leadership experience.
- Experience partnering directly with founders or CEOs in high-growth companies.
- Deep expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, executive coaching, and performance management.
- A track record of building high-accountability cultures while retaining exceptional talent.
- Experience scaling technology, AI, SaaS, healthcare technology, or enterprise software organizations.
- Strong executive presence with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.
- Experience working with distributed global teams.
- Experience scaling companies from roughly 75–500 employees.
- Experience operating across the U.S. and India.
- Venture-backed startup experience.
- Experience using AI to improve People operations.
- Healthcare or HealthTech experience.
You’ll thrive at Autonomize if you:
- Take full ownership from strategy through execution.
- Build systems that scale instead of creating bureaucracy.
- Move quickly while maintaining high quality.
- Coach leaders through difficult conversations.
- Love solving ambiguous organizational problems.
- Raise the bar for everyone around you.
- Believe culture is built through behaviors—not posters.
- A chance to help shape one of the fastest-growing AI companies in healthcare.
- Direct partnership with experienced founders and executive leaders.
- High ownership with enormous opportunity for growth.
- Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k), disability insurance, and employee assistance programs.
- The opportunity to build the People organization that powers the next generation of AI.
