Job Description

The Product Insights Team for Group Transaction Banking (GTB) is responsible for product analytics and insights, leveraging data across the entire product lifecycle to support decision management, strengthen commercialization efforts, and drive business growth. 

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Vice President, Product Insights. Reporting to the Head of Product Insights, this individual contributor role will focus on strategic projects to drive commercial performance, competitive positioning, and operational excellence across GTB products and markets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist to set up a Product Insights Centre of Excellence (CoE) across transaction banking products (cash management, trade, and digital channels). This includes setting the strategic direction for insight generation, data governance, data monetization, and analytics capability development.
  • Manage strategic projects from planning to execution, including preparation of executive reporting and presentation materials for business reviews, project communications, and steering committee updates.
  • Support product commercialization and sales efforts with actionable insights based on client transaction, adoption, and usage patterns, and ecosystem flows.
  • Derive relationship level insights that can be useful for developing bundling and pricing models, and advisory tools for the transaction banking product and sales teams.
     
  • Leverage market, competitor, and client assessments to identify trends, issues, and opportunities, and translate these insights into actionable product and client propositions.
     
  • Assist in the development of thematics and narratives for external communications, thought leadership content, and industry award submissions.
  • Coordinate with group, country and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and seamless execution of initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in transaction banking, management consulting, or product/client analytics.
  • Banking consulting experience with a top-tier firm or within strategy functions of wholesale banks as Project Manager or Engagement Manager preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills, with the ability to produce insight-led narratives, compelling communications, and decision-oriented recommendations.
     
  • Proven project management experience coordinating multi-stakeholder, cross-functional initiatives and managing timelines to ensure timely and effective execution.
     
  • Expert in Excel-based analytics and executive dashboards. Proficiency in SQL and Qlik Sense highly desirable.
     
  • Team player with growth mindset, possessing a strong drive to add value to business direction.
     
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
