Job Description

  • Leads and drives the test engineering strategies across bank, establishing practices covering automation, performance testing, GenAI and mobile testing.
  • Defines and drives the implementation of the overall test automation strategy for TCOE
  • Owns and maintains the Tosca and Open-Source test automation frameworks.
  • Provides guidance and support for test delivery team in the effective use of testing tools
  • Ensures knowledge management is effectively institutionalised, including maintaining and moderating the content of knowledge management tools.
  • Establishes test automation best practices, standards and guidelines and drives its adoption
  • Conducts regular reviews of test automation scripts to ensure compliance and high reusability
  • Participates in RFP and POC for new testing tools
  • Works with the tool vendors to bring in the new features or tools to the bank
  • Works with tool vendors and project testing teams to devise custom solutions to optimise test delivery

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 12-15 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a large Finance
  • Proven working experience in Test Engineering, or equivalent role with at least 12 to 15 years relevant experience in large and complex organisations preferably in the area of Banking and Finance
  • Proven experience with design & implementation of testing tools supporting the various delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall
  • Strong, working knowledge and proven experience in the use of DevOps to support test automation
  • Strong, working knowledge and proven experience in setting up and running distributed test execution for test automation
  • Strong, working knowledge and proven experience in setting up and running mobile test automation
  • Strong experience in market leading testing tools such as Tosca, Load Runner, Appium, Selenium, Jira, Zephyr (or equivalent), Mobile Device Farm, QuerySurge
  • Strong knowledge in the implementation of CICD technologies and
    processes
  • Knowledge in GenAI technologies
  • Comfortable with working in multi-cultural, diverse, and remote virtual
    teams.
  • Excellent client facing, internal communications, written and verbal
    communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Tosca certifications AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2 is mandatory
  • Testing or quality related certifications (eg ISTQB), PMP certifications, and
    Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) Framework awareness will be
    preferred
