Your role at Clorox:

The Regional Sales Manager, West is responsible for accelerating growth across Clorox's Away From Home (AFH) business by leading sales execution throughout the Western United States.

In this role, you will:

The Regional Sales Manager, West is responsible for accelerating growth across Clorox's Away From Home (AFH) business by leading sales execution throughout the Western United States.

This role is responsible for managing regional foodservice brokers, distributor relationships, regional commercial operator accounts, and developing new business opportunities to expand the Hidden Valley Ranch® and Kingsford® Professional portfolios.

Approximately 40% of the role is dedicated to broker and distributor management, 25% to regional operator account management, and 35% to new business development and business planning.

Success in this role requires a highly strategic, commercially driven sales leader with deep foodservice experience, strong broker management capabilities, proven distributor expertise, and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.

The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for delivering regional growth in:

•    Forecast Accuracy

•    Trade Investment ROI 
•    Customer & Distributor Growth 
•    New Business Pipeline 

This position partners closely with Marketing, Culinary, R&D, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales Planning, QA, and external customer stakeholders to deliver profitable growth.

What we look for:

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of Away From Home (Foodservice) sales experience within a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
  • Demonstrated success managing foodservice broker networks.
  • Proven experience leading regional distributor relationships and Joint Business Planning.
  • Experience managing regional commercial operator accounts.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and developing customer pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice distribution, operator selling, and back-of-house operations.
  • Experience managing trade investments and sales profitability.
  • Cross-functional experience partnering with Marketing, Culinary, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D.
  • Strong forecasting and demand planning experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, Power BI, Technomic, and Datassential.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling nationally branded food products.
  • Experience with non-commercial foodservice channels, including Colleges & Universities, and Travel & Leisure.
  • Experience launching menu innovation and branded menu partnerships.
  • Familiarity with foodservice culinary applications and menu development.

  • Partners effectively with Sales, Marketing, Culinary, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver integrated customer solutions.

  • Communicates effectively with brokers, distributors, customers, and senior leadership through concise, data-driven presentations and business reviews.

Ownership & Execution

  • Demonstrates accountability, delivers against commitments, and drives results with a bias for action and continuous improvement.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $131,200 - $258,500

–Zone B: $120,300 - $237,000

–Zone C: $109,400 - $215,500
