About the Role
The Implementation Engineer M&A is the technical and operational owner for bringing warehouses and customers live on Stord’s technology stack. This role is deeply embedded in warehouse operations, ensuring that systems, workflows, data, and physical processes work together seamlessly in live environments. You are responsible not just for configuring systems, but for making sure operations can execute at scale on Day 1 and remain stable post-launch. This role will require the employee to travel to various Stord fulfillment locations throughout the United States up to 50% of the time.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end operational readiness for warehouse launches and transitions

  • Translate real-world warehouse processes into scalable WMS and OMS configurations

  • Partner directly with Operations design, Implement, and validate operational work flows:

    • Receiving, picking, packing, and shipping workflows

    • Equipment, pack stations, and physical layout readiness

    • Replenishment strategies, ICQA, cycle counts, and inventory states

  • Configure and validate WMS and OMS workflows to support operational execution

  • Lead inventory, SKU, and order data validation and reconciliation

  • Execute UAT and live order testing with warehouse teams

  • Support cutover and go-live execution, including rollback planning

  • Provide hypercare support, monitoring throughput, SLAs, and system stability

  • Create clear, usable SOPs for warehouse and CX team

  • Act as the technical escalation point during live operations

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with Client Facing, Operations and Technical teams

This Role Is Not

  • A customer success or account management role

  • A purely SaaS implementation position

This role operates inside live warehouse environments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

    • WMS implementations

    • Warehouse operations with system ownership

    • Fulfillment or logistics technology roles

  • 2+ years of Hands-on experience with:

    • Inventory loading and reconciliation

    • Live warehouse go-lives or cutovers

    • User Acceptance Testing with operational users

  • 1 yr of experience+ with the following:

    • D2C and/or B2B fulfillment workflows

    • Inventory statuses, replenishment, ICQA, cycle counts

    • End-to-end order lifecycle (receive → ship)

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience supporting live warehouse launches or transitions

  • Exposure to:

    • Carrier integrations and parcel workflows

    • Hazmat, lot control, shelf life, or compliance requirements

  • Ability to write SOPs used on the warehouse floor

  • Experience with data validation, reporting, or SQL-based tooling
