This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with specialized experience in BuddyPress and AffiliateWP to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins with a focus on creating engaging, user-friendly, and efficient online communities and affiliate systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Website Development and Customization:

    • Develop and customize WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
    • Work with BuddyPress to create and maintain engaging online communities.
    • Implement and customize AffiliateWP to manage and optimize affiliate marketing programs.
  2. Plugin Development and Management:

    • Develop custom WordPress plugins as required.
    • Install, configure, and manage BuddyPress and AffiliateWP plugins, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
  3. UI/UX Design:

    • Collaborate with designers to improve the website's user experience.
    • Ensure that the website's design is mobile-responsive and adheres to the latest web standards.
  4. Performance Optimization:

    • Optimize website speed and scalability.
    • Perform regular website maintenance and troubleshooting.
  5. SEO and Analytics:

    • Implement SEO best practices in collaboration with the marketing team.
    • Monitor website performance and user engagement metrics.
  6. Collaboration and Support:

    • Work closely with project managers and other team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
    • Provide technical support and training to team members and clients on BuddyPress and AffiliateWP functionalities.
  7. Continuous Learning:

    • Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in WordPress, BuddyPress, AffiliateWP, and web technology.


Requirements

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with expertise in BuddyPress and AffiliateWP.
  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
    • Experience in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and website performance.
    • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
    • Familiarity with SEO principles and Google Analytics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
