Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Workday Support Specialist to join our HR Technology team. This role will assist with the administration and execution of a wide range of Human Resources functions within the Workday system. The individual will help establish and support integrated systems for the administration and deployment of strategic human resources information, programs, and services.
This role focuses on increasing the capacity to streamline HR workflows; maximizing the accuracy, reliability, and validity of workforce data; and supporting the effective configuration, reporting, and maintenance of HR data across functional areas. The individual will be committed to the integrity, security, and confidentiality of employee data.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support HR databases, systems, and Workday modules used to manage core Human Resources functions, including employee data, job management, organizational structures, and related processes

  • Provide technical expertise and analytical support for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing execution of Workday business processes and system requirements supporting Human Resources

  • Act as a generalist resource within Workday, partnering with HR stakeholders to support multiple HR functional areas and resolve routine system issues

  • Serve as a primary support resource resolving Tier 2 inquiries, triaging complex items to HRIS SMEs

  • Execute repeatable, standardized tasks supporting Talent, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Recruiting and Learning as designated

  • Maintain data accuracy by performing audits, running quality dashboards, and partnering with HRIS SMEs to resolve discrepancies

  • Assist with configuration updates to support enhancements, releases, and process improvements

  • Support the development of job aids and knowledge articles; participate in user acceptance testing, release regression testing, other needs as identified

  • Follow established procedures and best practices to perform routine assignments and support standard HR system operations

  • Analyze basic HR data, system configurations, and standard practices to make decisions impacting work performed and data quality

  • Provide consistent, reliable support as an individual contributor with guidance from HR leadership

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred

Experience

  • Typically requires 1-3 years of related work experience

  • Hands-on experience supporting or administering Workday required

  • Experience supporting multiple HR functional areas and executing operational transactions preferred

  • Exposure to HR Shared Services or centralized support models a plus
