Austin Tech Quote of the Week

“The live music industry is a $200 billion global industry that hasn’t been innovated in the last few decades. Ticketing experiences have been very transactional. What I felt was missing and needed was a membership community in the live event space that allows people to feel a part of the experience.” — Ed Vincent, founder and CEO of festivalPass

FestivalPass was featured in the Built In Future 5 series. FestivalPass is a live event ticket platform where customers can sign up for monthly and yearly memberships to purchase tickets without checkout fees. The company’s founder Ed Vincent previously worked closely with MoviePass. FestivalPass also implements Web3 technology onto its ticketing platform and sells lifetime NFT passes. [Built In Austin]
