Job Summary
The mission of the University of Austin is to prepare thoughtful and ethical innovators, builders, leaders,
public servants, and citizens through open inquiry and civil discourse. UATX is seeking an academic leadership coordinator to support the Provost. As an academic leadership,coordinator, you will assist with calendar management, travel accommodations, event planning, and meeting follow-ups. In addition, you will also play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the academic division by offering reliable logistical and administrative support that keeps daily functions running efficiently.

Responsibilities
● Manage and maintain executive schedules, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
● Serve as the primary point of contact between the executive and internal/external stakeholders
● Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents
● Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and special projects
● Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
● Track deadlines, priorities, and follow‐up tasks to support executive decision‐making
 
Qualifications
● Genuine passion for the mission and principles of UATX
● Proven ability to manage complex logistics, including scheduling, coordination of high‐level meetings, and event planning
● Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time‐management skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders
● An expert in diplomacy, comfortable being privy to and guarding sensitive information
● Values honesty and direct feedback to ensure UATX embodies its core tenets and lives up to its potential
