About GigSafe
GigSafe is a contractor management platform built for gig and last-mile delivery operations. We are building infrastructure for the future of 1099 work that helps companies verify, manage, and pay independent contractors at scale.

The 1099 economy is the fastest-growing segment of the American workforce, and it's been running on duct tape and spreadsheets. A credentialing gap or an uninsured worker isn't just an HR headache here, it's a liability that can shut down a business. This is a big problem. A large market. And we're early. Come build with us. Role Overview
GigSafe is looking for our first Account Coordinator to join the Customer Success team and support the full customer success lifecycle. Our Customer Success team has grown from managing a handful of accounts to dozens of active relationships across mid-market and enterprise size customers, without anyone dedicated to the operational layer underneath them. Delayed onboarding or a missed follow-up isn’t just an internal miss, it’s a huge client-facing risk that can hold up a customer’s ability to pay their own contractors.

This role closes those gaps. It requires a proactive, process- and detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and operational skills, who is eager to grow in a cross-functional startup environment. It needs someone who can earn trust across multiple stakeholders, keeping them prepared and organized without waiting to be asked.

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers and the Onboarding team across the full customer success lifecycle – during the handoff from sales to implementation and through steady-state account management

  • Prepare onboarding documentation, pull account reports and assemble materials ahead of customer calls and QBRs

  • Track onboarding status end-to-end: log activity, update records and keep Attio current so nothing falls through

  • Handle routine customer communications – scheduling, confirmations, status updates, and flag anything that needs an Account Manager’s judgement call

  • Manage internal deadlines and open action items across teams so follow-ups don’t sit unaddressed

  • Log support and product tickets and follow-up until resolved

  • Be a secondary point of contact for allocated account stakeholders

  • Be a product expert and help build, edit, and manage customer onboarding and compliance workflows

  • Support client site visits alongside Account Managers, as needed

  • Drive process improvements and contribute to standard operating procedure (SOP) development for the customer success lifecycle as it matures

Qualifications

  • Based in Austin, TX or willing to relocate

  • 1-3 years of experience in account management, customer support or an operations/admin role managing 10+ accounts or projects at once

  • Working fluency in a CRM (Attio, Salesforce, HubSpot or similar)

  • Strong project management skills including project planning, time management, organization

  • Ability to effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills – concise, specific and quick

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Startup experience

  • Background in logistics, contractor management, insurance or payments

  • Experience with Attio

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision for you and dependents · Unlimited PTO plus company holidays · Competitive base with performance bonus · 401(k) · Meaningful equity · Paid parental leave
